Majority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin is of the view that if Ghanaians want to develop, they will never think of bringing back the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to power.
To him, Ghanaians, regardless of the economic challenges, should sit down and make a comparative analysis of the two leading political parties.
Then they will realize that it will be a sin to bring back the NDC which has not solved any problem in the country.
“I’m not saying this because I am NPP but NDC cannot give Ghana the development it needs. Chairman, let’s look at their track records. Education, roads, and let’s compare them to ours. We have Kufour Bus, and we have health insurance. Even though we have challenges, the hospitals are getting their payment,” he said on Accra-based Peace FM.
Afenyo-Markin reiterated the need for the NPP to communicate their achievements to prevent the NDC from pushing propaganda and lying to the people of Ghana.
The New Patriotic Party is hoping to break the eight-year cycle for political parties in Ghana with the leadership of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
However, the NDC, under the leadership of John Dramani Mahama, believes that the NPP has destroyed Ghana and that they can save Ghana in four years and that John Dramani Mahama may be in power if he wins the 2024 elections.
