Authorities Take Action to Address Safety Concerns at Ho Main Lorry Station

In a positive turn of events, authorities in Ho, the Volta Regional capital, have responded swiftly to address the safety concerns raised by residents, commuters, and vendors at the main lorry station.

The public toilet at the lorry station, which had unfortunately become a hotspot for criminal activities and drug use, is now set to undergo significant changes.

After residents and commuters reported feeling unsafe due to the presence of criminals and drug addicts, drivers also voiced their concerns about the lack of security at the station.

In response to these pressing issues, the Assembly Member of Fiave Electoral Area, Hon Charles Legbedze, has assured the community that swift actions will be taken to curb the impeding issue and also demolish the deteriorating toilet facility.

Recognizing the urgency of the situation, authorities have pledged to prioritize the safety and well-being of residents, commuters, and vendors alike.

However, efforts are also underway to implement comprehensive security measures to prevent further incidents of theft and harassment.

The police, in collaboration with community leaders, are working diligently to address the root causes of criminal activity in the area and ensure a safer environment for all.

The proactive response from the authorities has been met with relief and gratitude from drivers, vendors, and passengers who rely on the lorry station for transportation and commerce.
