Bawumia mobbed in Ho market as traders scramble for his ‘It Is Possible’ T-shirts

The Vice President and Flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, stormed the central market in Ho on Thursday afternoon, electrifying the atmosphere.

Dr. Bawumia is visiting the region as part of his tour of the Volta Region and his broader nationwide engagement with various stakeholders.

In what has become a familiar aspect of his campaign, Dr. Bawumia engages with traders and the public in markets and on the streets. He made his way through the Ho Central Market on foot, having earlier met with Clergy, Imams, Zongo Chiefs, and the Volta Regional House of Chiefs.

Loud cheers welcomed the NPP Flagbearer as he disembarked from the bus and walked through the market. The crowd swelled as many traders, particularly market women, approached to greet him.

Many were heard chanting Dr. Bawumia’s popular slogan “It Is Possible” as they sang his name in the local Ewe dialect.

As Dr. Bawumia confidently navigated the market, exchanging pleasantries and interacting with traders, many requested his t-shirts and his handlers were happy to distribute them.

The arrival of the t-shirts, adorned with his picture and the bold inscription “It Is Possible,” caused a frenzy among traders and passersby, leading to pandemonium in the market and on the streets.
