NDC doesn’t understand governance so don’t bring them back – Samira Bawumia

Wife of Ghana’s Vice President and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Samira Bawumia has explained why the National Democratic Congress must not be given any opportunity near the governance of the country.

According to her, the political party and its members do not have a better understanding of how the country is supposed to be run to ensure the needed development.

Apart from this, they do not have ideas and solutions to problems that faces the country and therefore they are not a correct fit for leadership roles in the country.

Samira Bawumia was speaking to a gathering in Asene-Akroso-Manso when she made this known.

“We all want to improve our lives, so this election is about improving our lives. Someone has built this thing and the other says take him out and bring me. If he had an idea of how to build it, why did he not do it when he had the opportunity?

Now that someone has built the foundation and needs to be maintained to continue you say you want to come and destroy what he has built. Don’t bring them because they have no understanding of how things are done. They will come and destroy the foundation we have built. Things are getting better. Our children have gone to school, so we are now looking at the next line of development, and we need a leader who has bold solutions for the problems of this country.

If you look at Bawumia he has a good heart, works hard and is a smart thinker. We need a leader who has solutions to problems. That is what we will be voting for in the December elections. You are my people and you have to make me proud come December 7,” she said.
